Support Groups in the Eastern Health Region

St. John's - for anyone affected by a stroke including family, friends and caregivers.  Last Tuesday of the month, 7 pm, Miller Centre.  Phone 777-6560.

St. John's - for caregivers affected by dementia and alzheimer's disease including family and friends.  Seven sessions on Thursday afternoon, 1:30 - 3 pm at the Miller Centre.  Phone 777-6149.

St. John's & Area Cancer Support Group - open to cancer patient, caregivers and survivors.  2nd Wednesday of the month, 7:30 pm - 9 pm at 70 Ropewalk Lane.  For information phone Denise McCarthy 753-6520 ext 228.

St. John's - Monthy Grief and Bereavement Seminar held at the Miller Centre.  The second Tuesday of the month from 7 - 9 pm.   Join Peter Barnes, D.Min, CCC for this two-hour seminar.  Understand the grieving process and more. Free and registration not required. Provincial Support via Webinar
